Costume Design Technician
Busch Gardens Williamsburg has exciting opportunities for wardrobe and costume professionals with sewing and costume care experience. Our costumers work with a wide variety of costumes, from period Irish costumes to Sesame Street costumed characters. Costuming duties include fixing minor repairs, processing laundry, costume organization, and maintaining costume inventory and stock.
- A variety of employment periods are available:
- Day & evening shifts are available, depending on the show and/or shop needs.
- Applicants must be comfortable working in show areas under all weather conditions and in dark/nighttime conditions.
- Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds alone and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Some positions may require a valid driver’s license depending on the role.
Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $9.50
Dresser Technicians
Busch Gardens Williamsburg has exciting opportunities for wardrobe and costume professionals with sewing, costume care experience, and backstage experience. Our dressers work with a wide variety of costumes, from period Irish costumes to Sesame Street costumed characters. Dresser are assigned to specific show products and duties include fixing minor repairs, daily costume deliveries, laundry, costume organization, assisting with costume changes, and venue specific needs, which may include general technician work.
- A variety of employment periods are available:
- Day & evening shifts are available, depending on the show and/or shop needs.
- Applicants must be comfortable working in show areas under all weather conditions and in dark/nighttime conditions.
- Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds alone and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Applicants must be able to communicate via headset and work in a team environment.
- Some positions may require a valid driver’s license depending on the role
Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $12.20
